The McChoakumchild School is dedicated to teaching our students our strict philosophies that will help them succeed in the industrial world we live in. Here at McChoakumchild School we believe that the most important philosophy is to teach only Facts to the students who come here.
The McChoakumchild School was built in the mid 1800s. It is locate at the heart of Coketown -- a busy industrial city. When you wander around the grounds of the school, you will instantly fall in love. Don't let the smoke and ash cloud your judgement, it's all about the red bricks underneath! :)
About Coketown:
Coketown is "a town of machinery and tall chimneys". Running through this town is a black canal and a "river that runs purple". (21-22) Everything in Coketown is the same. Even the public inscriptions in the town are painted alike! That's what makes this town so unique! Everything is orderly and nothing is ever out of place.
The McChoakumchild School is a great place to nurture children's ability to absorb Facts because the entire town consists of Facts. "Fact, fact, fact, everywhere in the material aspect of the town; fact, fact, fact, everywhere in the immaterial. The McChoakumchild school is all fact, and the school of design is all fact." (22)
So make sure you remember The McChoakumchild School in Coketown -- "the town of red brick"! (21)
